The food is okay here with some things done very well and others pretty standard but that is not why you come here. The atmosphere is fantastic especially if you decide to eat in the bar / Pub.. Staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is fantastic especially in the winter when all the fireplaces are running and the wood stove is roaring in the bar. Great place to stop for a bowl of clam chowder and a couple of beers while you watch a football game.
Bidwell Tavern is a place that I've been to quite a few times. It captures a certain rustic charm with the bar area having a wood stove to heat the place, coupled a great wood paneling.
Good Prices. Great Wings, but the potato skins lacked a little salt. Drinks don't have free refills (I Think, since the soda came in a bottle), so be wary of that if that's a deal breaker. Overall, 4.5 star experience. Would go again for the wings. By the way, the best flavor definitely has to be Honey Garlic. If you go there, get the Honey Garlic wings, you wont regret it. Did I mention their wings are great? Really good wings. Seriously. Stop reading this and go get their wings. No, really. Dude, please. Stop.
Been coming here since the early days at the University. The wood stove in winter is just wonderful, completes the wood-cabin interior. Great selection of beer on tap, and the wings never fails even after all these years. Live music available too. Just a great place to hang out with friends.
Great place to watch the game. Has great local breweries on draft and a good selection of other drinks. They are known for their wings and every flavor I've ever tried has been delicious! The decor is warm and homey, especially in the winter. They have a large deck for the summer. The servers are friendly.
The food is great, if you go to Bidwell Tavern though, you must get the wings! Their wings are phenomenal, they're tender and perfectly fried, the sauces come in a large variety and you get a great amount for what you pay.
They have a good beer selection, and drinks are reasonably priced. It's worth trying their house red ale!
