Not free to swim, but still very fun for the little ones
Full of duck poop nasty life guards chit chat to much and not pay attention.
Nice place for the kids to practice crew. Playground, bandshell, buildings all well maintained and welcoming. Wish there was a little more parking.
Duck poop everywhere and no restrooms available. This place used to be a good place to swim and enjoy with the family now not so much.
The park is open during the week, however my children and I were not allowed to use the beach or go in the water. The town has a day camp for children and the Counselors told me that We had to wait until camp is over to use the amenities. I paid for the sticker granting me access, but it's only good on weekends and after 5 pm on weekdays. The playground has good shade, the covered picnic area and basketball court are more centralized at Patriots Park than at Lisicke Beach, located across the lake, the other location the car pass I purchased grants me access to. Patriots Park, for the reasons I mentioned earlier is a much better park...however, the town not allowing me and my children to use the park during the week prevents me from using the pass. I'm a Coventry resident, but I'd rather use Bolton CT parks instead. Coventry Parks and Rec needs to get their act together.
